One Day Studies - Part C (UE4)

One Day Studies - Part B (UE4)

"Dystopia" & "Crashed Ship"

I made around 8 environments earlier in the year which were quick studies. In fact each one of them were entirely built in Unreal Engine 4 in less than a day. Some of the studies inspired me quite a bit and taught me a few new tricks and I wanted to share the outcomes with anyone interested! There is a good chance one or two of these studies will become larger, detailed environments in the future!

Crashed Ship:
18 Hour Project
This was actually my first "one day" project. I spent the majority of the time modeling the pieces of the ship. I took inspiration from aspects of alien but wanted sunlight to come through so I removed the entire back door.

Dystopia:
12 Hour Project
UE4

With this quick project I was feeling a lot of inspiration from the Last of Us Part II and wanted to fill a similar aesthetic. A lot of time was spent piecing in the vegetation and building quick modular architecture

I had a little time to utilize some vertex painting for puddles and to spline some hanging wires from the ceiling.
